How many times have you read this phrase?  
Generally speaking, it certainly works, as long as it is real, because as you will see, it is one of the most typical real estate scams.

But, when should you run away from it?

When you see that it is joined or complemented with very low prices, that is to say, if you know the value of the properties in a certain area and they are much higher than that property, do not doubt it, there is something wrong with the house.

This kind of offers that seem dreamed, do not exist and, without a doubt, it is one of the most used tricks to call the attention to a certain property.

It tends to occur especially in areas with greater recognition. It also applies to properties with advertisements such as: "first line" or "near the sea".

Another classic without a doubt is the typical "cozy apartment", "apartment with many possibilities", "property to create your dream home".

All these are synonyms of problems, old, damaged apartment in which you will have to invest time and money to make it look as you wish.

All these phrases are euphemisms for the same thing: small, old, poorly laid out apartment in which you will have to spend more money than you thought.

Another classic is the "Ready to live in" "to see it is to buy it". 

This has only one meaning in red letters, RUN! And I mean it, in general within the real estate scams this means, that it not only needs a few touches of paint.

But it may be a property that already has renovations, which may have been done at least a decade ago and needs to be updated.

Another common lie, is the surface of the property, this number in general can be a real estate deception.

Always remember that the total area of a property is different from the living area of the property.

This is something that many real estate agencies tend to hide because in the end no client gets to measure the property before buying it.

So when you are going to buy a property, and pay for it, do not be afraid to ask your real estate agent for the two figures.
